2nd HAND ENGINE FRAME FROM STATIONARY SULZER ENGINE 8ZAL40S PORTUGAL

USED ENGINE FRAME from SULZER Stationary Engine Type 8ZAL40S to let go.

ENGINE FRAME is presently at storage in Portugal on a warehouse located north of the country. Delivery (ex-works).

Regarding ENGINE FRAME history, it belonged to a stationary SULZER ENGINE type 8ZAL40S Serial No. 740 223 installed in Portugal, and always maintained by ENERGETUS (former SULZER Portugal), until the day the engine stopped due to the termination of the power plant owner contract with Portugal Sate Electricity Company (EDP) in 2013.

The engine as stopped with approx. 90000 running hours shortly after a major overhaul performed with approx. 88000 running hours. 

ENERGETUS decided at the time to buy the complete engine from the engine owner and stripped it for second hand/recon parts. Only Crankshaft and Engine Frame remain for sale.

The ENGINE FRAME as no cracks or excessive wear signs.

We have the ENGINE FRAME original certificates as well as picture of it at the warehouse where it is presently storaged.

REMARK: the ENGINE FRAME is like in the Picture, completelly stripped without any accessories what so ever including the BEARING CAPS.
