AEP Ohio has partnered with Turning Point Solar to construct a 49.9MW commercial solar facility in Indiana, US.
The plant will be equipped with 250,000 solar panels, which will be supplied by Spanish technology company Isofoton.
AEP plans to invest $20m to build the plant and will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the facility after construction.
Construction of the plant is expected to begin in 2012 and be complete by 2015.
