In January-June of this year, Azerbaijan produced 104,280 tonnes of liquefied gas, which is by 540 tonnes lower than in the same period in 2010.According to sources in SOCAR,
production made up 17,830 tonnes in January, 6,040 tonnes in February, 17,830 tonnes in March, 22,040 tonnes in April, 22,230 tonnes in May and 18,310 tonnes in June.
In 2010, Azerbaijan produced 214,000 tonnes of liquefied gas, up by 40,800 tonnes over 2009.
In 2009, Azezrbaijan produced 173,300 tonnes of liquefied gas, a drop by 7,830 tonnes over 2008.
On the internal market, transport consumes 80% and population consumes 15% of liquefied gas. This gas is produced at the Azerbaijan Gas Processing Plant, oil refineries after Heydar Aliyev and one of Azerkimya structures.
