Black Hills is seeking a new investor to acquire a 50% stake in the planned 29MW wind project to be developed in Colorado, US.
The Colorado Public Utilities Commission approved the project last week, allowing Black Hills Energy to construct and own half of the wind project.
The wind facility will be equipped with 16 Vestas wind turbines and generate energy sufficient to power 94,000 homes.
At present, half of the project is subject to a renewable energy purchase agreement (REPA) with Black Hills Energy.
The project is planned for completion in late 2012.
