The Brasil Voyager tanker was loaded with close to 740,000 barrels of oil from the floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) at Papa-Terra, on May 9th, according to Chevron.
The first offloaded oil was produced by the two wells in action at that time.
The yield of 950,000 barrels of crude oil is expected to be offloaded by the Brasil Voyager in 40 day intervals.
“The Brasil Voyager is now bringing cargo to the market, including providing supply to the Pascagoula Refinery, and we look forward to its return to the Papa-Terra Field for the next Chevron shipment,” said Les Wood, a manager with Chevron Brazil.
The planned daily output of the project is 140,000 barrels of crude oil and 0.99 million cubic metres of natural gas.
