Brazil: STX OSV Finalizes LPG Carrier Order with Transpetro

STX OSV Holdings Limited, one of the major global designers and shipbuilders of offshore and specialized vessels, made effective the contract for eight LPG carriers for Petrobras Transportes S.A. The vessels are scheduled to be delivered between 2014 and 2016 from STX OSV’s new shipyard currently under development at Suape in the state of Pernambuco, Brazil.
