Dear Sir/Mam,
We have
o This plant is a base-load producer and has been in operation with a steady user.
o It has been maintained by a full time, on-site Caterpillar mechanic under a Caterpillar maintenance contract.
o All energy is recovered through a system of exhaust and cooling water heat recovery units. The units have wet exhaust systems that capture the exhaust heat, as well as the cooling water heat in a shell and tube heat exchanger (one for each generator). The generator turbos (two each) are cooled through a closed cooling loop with a Re-cold unit as the cooling device.
o Complete plant includes the following major components:
(4) 820 kw Caterpillar reciprocating engine generator sets
Model 3516 90 LE. Natural gas fired. After-cooled. Lean burning.
UNUSED 431 CFM Ro-Flo rotary natural gas compressor
5 hp skid mounted air compressor with 40 Gallon tank
SPX (Marley) Re-cold evaporative fluid cooler
(3) 1,750 GPM @ 175 PSI Allis Chalmers pumps, 60 hp
If you want all engines, controls, switchgear, MCCs, accessory pumps, heat recovery steam generators, turbo cooling water chiller, absorption chillers, transformer, etc. then it would be more like 5x20’, 3x40’ and 2 pieces of deck freight that would ship on a double-drop trailer (legal load, just too high for a flatbed).
System was built in 1988, but was operated AND maintained by Caterpillar until shutdown and is in great condition.
