The cogeneration plant provides up to 50 MW of power via a GE Frame 6B natural gas turbine with heat recovery system that powers a steam turbine.

Main: Natural Gas;
Back-up: Diesel Oil (never run);

Composed by:
GENERAL ELECTRIC Gas turbine MS 6541 B (Frame 6B) with it's own generator;
Ansaldo Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) for producing steam in two different pressure levels (70 and 6 bars);
Ansaldo Steam Turbine connected to it's own generator, with three steam extractions (24-13-6 bars);

Nominal power 50 MWe;
Gas Turbine 39 MW;
Steam Turbine Power 11-15 MW.
