Nazareth Offshore Fishing Co-operative Society Limited

Nazareth Offshore Fishing Co-operatives Society Limited is a Semi-Industrial Offshore Fishing Society situated in the Mascarene Archipelago of the Indian Ocean, which is the Republic of Mauritius Island. The Society is registered as a Co-operatives under the Ministry of Blue Economy and Fisheries department of the Local Government. The Society had been established in October 2023 for Offshore Fishing in the Blue Economy territoriale fishing zone of Mauritius Island, such as Hawkins Bank which is a large submerged bank off the Mascarene Plateau. It is considered a dependency of Mauritius (in terms of fishing banks, much like the Saya de Malha Bank, Nazareth Bank, Soudan Banks and St-Brandon Fishing Bank). The bank is abundant with fish and Mauritian vessels often fish in the waters in and around the bank.
