Ocean Centre Group Brief :-

Ocean Centre (OC) was conceived and originated in 1990 in India as a small time entrepreneurship and culminated into a “group” with primary focus and expertise in highly demanding Oil & Gas Industry spread over offices in 4 countries and operations ranging across 17 countries from Vietnam, Middle East, Egypt, Turkey and all the way to Caspian Sea in Russian / Turkmenistan waters.

Origin of the company has been in Underwater Deep Sea Diving being the profession in which promoters specialize in and started as a private entrepreneur operating from residence with practically nil capital. In short span, company completed + 400 specialised underwater deep sea diving projects of various types and built itself as one of the top leading companies in its field in India and beyond. During 90’s various diving assignments were conducted for about 250 ships, 59 Jack up rigs, 26 Offshore production platforms, 100 harbor jobs.

The Group has centralized management policies being implemented continuously by way of various established procedures and standards (eg ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000, HSE, OHSAS, IMCA, etc) related to safety, management, operations and also general business guidelines which have been established over the years.  Major activities are approved by major international classification societies like ABS, BV, DNV, IRS, LRS, GL, NKK, etc.

The Group has worked in countries which include Turkmenistan ( Caspian Sea), Turkey, Off Cyprus (Mediterranean Waters), Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iran, UAE, Oman, Bahrain, , Kuwait, Nepal, Africa, Vietnam, Malaysia, Seychelles,  etc

Group also enjoys goodwill internationally with clientele which includes numerous Oil Majors like Statoil, ONGC, Petronas, British Gas, Hyundai, Samsung, Saipem, McDermott, Dubai Petroleum Company, Oman Petroleum, Egypt Petroleum, Technip and many others.

Group has outstanding proven international track record with commendable self owned asset base coupled with very good credit rating and relations in India as well as on International platform with vendors, clients, suppliers and bank.

Group  / Promoters have offices and / or Registered companied in  Dubai  (UAE) , Vienna (Austria) ,  Aktau (Kazakhstan) , Singapore.

The Group activities can be largely divided into 2 parts viz

a)         Marine Activities

b)         Fabrication Activities

Marine Activities :-

Marine activities are conducted under the name of 2 companies viz: Ocean Diving Centre Limited and Naik Business Services Pvt. Ltd. Both are registered in India. While the former company is a Diving and Asset Owning Company, the other is an Operating Company.

With rich experience in this field and exposure to oil & Gas Industry, the company decided to   conceptualized, design, and build its own wide range of specialized in-house vessels.

Thus, in 2000 the first Vessel was built and by 2008 the company built / acquired 14 vessels and operated worldwide in several countries ranging from Vietnam to Turkey (Black Sea) and even beyond to Caspian Sea for clients which include ONGC, British Gas, Dubai Petroleum, Oman Petroleum, Petronas Carigali, Statoil, McDermott, Saipem (Italy), US Navy, Hyundai, Samsung, etc and worked in 18 Countries mainly for Oil Majors.

The company which is known as Ocean Centre Group is now well established and recognized for worldwide operations.

The group has now grown to take lead in Marine & Diving activities with an extremely well organized infrastructure by building in-house strong asset base comprising of specialized capital equipment’s, dive spreads and vessels such as work & accommodation crane barges, anchor handling tugs, supply vessels as per international oilfield standards. The Group now owns 10 vessels and 4 more are under procurement.

Fabrication Activities :

During the Year 2011, Ocean Group acquired GMMOS  Fabrication Group which has operations and companies in Dubai and Kazakhstan.

GMMOS Group is headquartered in Dubai . “ GMMOS Group “ is a 30 year old renowned and highly respected company with offices and yards admeasuring approximately 130,000 M2 with waterfronts and is now being enhanced to aggregate to approximately 210,000 M2 area spread around Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah in UAE, and Aktau in Kazakhstan.

GMMOS  has about 1000 employees that will be enhanced to about 4000 in the near future. It boasts of an international clientele for high end specialized Fabrication, Fabrication of  Pressure Vessels, Skids, Packages,  Platforms, Various Components of Production Platforms, 90m Jack Up rig Legs , Spudcans,  Jackets, etc.
