Details : | Singapore Technologies Marine Ltd (ST Marine) is one of Asia's premiere medium sized shipbuilding and repair yard. In commercial shipbuilding, we have designed, built and delivered: Feeder Container Vessels, RoRo Vessels, LPG Vessels, High Speed Catamaran Ferry, Naval. ST Marine has, in addition, designed and built Offshore Supply vessels, Mini Bulk Carriers and Fuel Oil Tankers for a variety of owners.

The company was incorporated on 7 May 1968 as Singapore Shipbuilding & Engineering (Private) Limited. We were the first shipbuilder and repairer awarded the ISO 9001 Certification, by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (UK) Ltd., (LRQA), in 1991, outside Western Europe.
The Tuas Yard
- Floating docks with rated-lifting capacity of 17,000MT(185m x 40m) and 28,000MT (240m x 52m)(both floating docks were built by STSE at its newbuilding berths in Tuas)
- Deep-water wharfage (540m) with full cranage cover
- Finger-piers (2 x 250m) with traveling cranes
- Two newbuilding berths (180m x no restriction on beam of vessel, upto 30,000DWT)
- Fully-equipped mechanical/electrical workshops
- CNC under-water plasma-cutting machine
The Benoi Yard
- Synchrolift dry-docking system of 5,000 tonnes dead weight (110 x 20m)(one additional 6000 tonnes deadweight synchrolift is under construction)
- Two newbuilding berths (146m x 25m, upto 14,000 tonnes deadweight)
- Deep-water wharfage (500m)
- Covered construction/repair halls (capable of building/repairing vessels of upto 60m in length)
- Fully-equipped specialist outfiting workshops
- Extensive cranage (upto 150T)
- CNC under-water plasma-cutting machine
- NC pipe-bending machine
- State-of-the-art CAD/CAM ship design/production facilities
