Thank you for the prompt email. I’m doing market research on the crane barge/vessels which we could potentially consider for decommissioning of offshore wind farms in the North Sea. We are trying to forecast potential projects and be prepared for them. 

 The scope of the project is to remove embedded substructures mainly monopile and its transition piece together. After calculating the required lifting capacity, we concluded that we would be needing 1000t – 3000t depending on the OWFs in the Northsea in the shallow water of < 30m water depth only. 

Thus, I’m currently in the phase of collecting viable vessels such as crane barges in the range of the calculated lifting capacity.

 Other than investigating the feasibility of vessels, I’m also looking into the chartering rate as this would be the largest portion of the cost in the whole project.

All in all, I would like to request an estimated cost for the chartering rate at this stage.
