GE Shipping welcomes new supramax


The Great Eastern Shipping Company has taken delivery of a newly built supramax of 57,000 dwt. The dry bulk carrier Jag Rani, built at Cosco (Zhoushan) Shipyard in China,

will bring GE Shipping's fleet to 35, including 26 tankers and nine capesizes with an average age of 8.6 years aggregating 2.61m dwt. The company's current newbuilding orderbook comprises of one kamsarmax dry bulk carrier.
