Germany: Jungerhans Shipping Takes Delivery and Charter MV ‘SENDA J’

On August 10th 2011, MV “SENDA J” was taken over from the shipyard and charter employment was commenced under the charter name MV “INDUSTRIAL FAITH”. Herm Jüngerhans traveled to China in order to accept the delivery and receive the necessary documents and certificates. He praised the high quality of construction by the Sainty Shipyard which also delivered this new building on schedule.

At the same time, however, there were already first contemplations to launch a successor fund for a further vessel from the series of four 14.300-ton heavy lift vessels. It would not only be an identical sister ship of MV “ERIS J”, which was taken over from the shipyard at the same construction price, but for which there likewise exists a charter contract having the same period and the same partners. “The economic and technical parameters of the two funds would be virtually identical,” explains Stefan Jüngerhans.
