Mohammad-Ali Khatibi, director of National Iranian Oil Company for international affairs, said on Monday that customers of Iranian crude can ship their consignments by oil tanker enjoying full insurance services.
Khatibi said the countries purchasing Iranian oil can ship the supplies by Iranian oil tankers enjoying full insurance services.
He said three factors, including fundamental factors of supply and demand, the geopolitical factor (the geopolitical issues) and psychological factors, have had impact on global market of crude oil. The geopolitical factor has had highest impact on the market, especially over recent days, he added.
He commented that based on latest OPEC monthly report, the world demand for crude stood at 86,620,000 barrels per day in the third three months of 2012 and the non-OPEC members’ share in the supply was 52,860,000 barrels.
Taking supplies of NGL and non-conventional crude, totaling 5,730,000 barrels per day, the OPEC crude production share would stand at 31,200,000 barrels per day, he added.
He added that latest figures regarding OPEC oil production is 31,200,000 barrels per day – OPEC is in oversupply condition.
