Solar Turbines Incorporated, a subsidiary of Caterpillar Inc., produces several types of gas turbines for power generation, oil and gas, and industrial applications. The main types of Solar gas turbines are:

 


    Centaur: A 40-megawatt turbine with a two-shaft design that is commonly used in power generation and oil and gas applications.
    Mars: A 90-megawatt turbine with a two-shaft design that is commonly used in power generation and oil and gas applications.
    Taurus: A 60-megawatt turbine with a single-shaft design that is commonly used in power generation, oil and gas, and industrial applications.
    Titan: A 130-megawatt turbine with a two-shaft design that is commonly used in power generation and oil and gas applications.
    Taurus T60: A 60-megawatt turbine with a single-shaft design that is commonly used in power generation, oil and gas, and industrial applications.
    Taurus T70: A 70-megawatt turbine with a single-shaft design that is commonly used in power generation, oil and gas, and industrial applications.

 

All these turbine models are known for their high efficiency, low emissions, and ability to run on a variety of fuels, including natural gas, propane, and diesel.
