Statoil Extends Charter for PSV Stril Pioner in North Sea

Statoil has extended the charter for “Stril Pioner” with two year-long firm contract from July 2013, with further two by two year options, Møkster announced.

“Stril Pioner” was one of the first gas fueled supply (PSV) vessels in North Sea operation and has been operating for Statoil since delivery, July 2003. “Stril Pioner” is a large PSV of VS-4403(LNG) design with length of 95m, breadth 20.4m, dead weight (DWT) of more than 6,000 t and large under-deck capacities.

Møkster looks forward to continuation of cooperation with Statoil.

Møkster has presently four vessels on long term contracts with Statoil and will have one additional PSV new-build delivered for Statoil’s Barents Sea operation from July 2014.
