The New World Alliance Service Vessel Calls at Bremerhaven, Germany


The new scheduled transatlantic service of the New World Alliance consortium (APL, Hyundai Merchant Marine and Mitsui OSK Lines) is also to call at Bremerhaven.

As the first container vessel operating on this service, the APL Shanghai was tied up, on 1th March, at the EUROGATE Container Terminal Bremerhaven.

The APL Shanghai has a nominal load capacity of 4,253 standard containers (TEUs). The service connects USA and Panama with northern Europe on a weekly basis and is a further transatlantic service to be offered by the shipping line consortium, which will utilise on average 3,200-TEU vessels on the service.

The Americas Europe Express (AEE) service will call at the following ports: Manzanillo (Panama), Charleston (USA), New York (USA), Rotterdam (Netherlands), Bremerhaven, Felixstowe (UK).
