Thenamaris Orders Four 6G80ME-C9.2 Ship Engines

Athens-based shipowner Thenamaris has ordered four 6G80ME-C9.2 engines from MAN Diesel & Turbo to be equipped in four 5,000-teu container vessels, which will be built by Hyundai (HSHI) in South Korea.

The 6G80ME-C9.2 engine helps the vessels generates an NCR of 21.5 knots with a design draft of 12m.

The first vessel is scheduled for delivery in August 2013.
