HEC promotes efficient use of fossil fuel by applying its advanced technology. HEC has designed thermal power plants including Nam Jeju Thermal Power Plant in Korea and Nueva Ventanas 240MW Thermal Power Plant in Chile. In 2008, HEC expanded its market to the Middle East by performing 1,400MW Thermal Power Plant in Tripoli and 1,400MW Thermal Power Plant at Al Khalji in Libya.
