Ulstein Belga Marine Relocates to New Office in Brazil

On Friday 14 September, Ulstein Belga Marine, a market leader in navigational communications service and equipment, celebrated their relocation to new premises, and is aiming for new growth and expansion to new markets. Today, the company counts close to 30 employees, and with 1,600 sq. metres of training room, office and production facilities they have room for more.

“Our new premises in São Cristovão in Rio includes an electronic workshop and a mechanical workshop. This means we can increase our existing activities and expand into new markets such as the automation and electrical segments,” says managing director André Britto in Ulstein Belga Marine.

COO Power & Control, Gunnar H. Hide, continues: “We see great opportunities for expanding our commitment to service, and eventually to establish production in Brazil. This host a new segment for Ulstein Belga Marine, but they are great people who work hard for ULSTEIN and are ready for new challenges”, he says.

ULSTEIN has been stationed in Brazil since 2005, when Ulstein Belga Marine was acquired. The company is a subsidiary of Ulstein Power & Control.
